Meditation

Meditation is a technique to quiet your mind.

"Quieting your mind" means becoming a neutral observer of your thoughts.

In other words, observing your thoughts instead of engaging them.

As attention to your thoughts lowers, your vibration rises and you create space in your mind to receive new information. When you're vibrating at a higher frequency and clear-minded, it's easier for you to access your intuition.

Therefore, meditation is a really valuable tool to have in your intuitive toolbox.

Here are two types of meditations that you can explore:

#1. Guided Meditation - A guided meditation is a form of meditation where you listen to a person's voice, either live or recorded, as they guide your mind into relaxation. Focusing on their words, music or sounds allows you to quiet your mind.

#2. Self Guided Meditation - A self guided meditation is a form of meditation that you do, on your own, without the guidance of another person. Examples of this include closing your eyes and sitting in silence for 20 minutes or closing your eyes and saying a mantra for 20 minutes. A mantra is repetition of a word or series of words and/or sounds.

When you're in the beginning stages of developing your intuition, incorporating meditation into your daily practice is a great way and a gateway for accessing your intuition.

As an added bonus, daily meditation decreases stress levels which boosts your immunity.

Overall, your mind and body can benefit greatly by integrating any type of meditation into your daily practice, whether it be guided or self directed.
